About PIERS CHATER ROBINSON

Piers runs International Theatre and Music Limited (IT&M) from his offices in Covent Garden, just off Drury Lane in London. He has produced and directed musical theatre productions and show recordings with three major record companies for 20 years throughout Europe including London’s West End, Rep. of Ireland, Channel Islands, Scandinavia and tours in the UK and Netherlands.

He has also advised on Peter Pan productions in Canada, Spain and Jersey. Either in his capacity as author, lyricist, composer or director his work has broken box office records in at least 10 theatres in the UK and Europe. His adaptations have been seen in every English speaking country worldwide and translated into many languages.

He has received two major awards: in the Channel Islands and the ‘MAX’ award in Spain.

Piers started his career teaching English, drama and music and has also had 10 years’ experience with theatre in education projects.

He wrote the book, music and lyrics for the Peter Pan Musical (Pub. Samuel French Ltd), ‘The Adventures of Mr. Toad’ (Pub. Josef Weinberger Ltd) and a new treatment of ‘Alice’ based on Lewis Carroll’s ‘Through the Looking Glass’. Also in development is a new musical version of the Cinderella story and a new musical adaption of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
